After your arrival on Kathmandu our representatives will be there waiting to give you a hearty welcome to Nepal with your name card. You will be taken to hotel by our representatives. Overnight at Kathmandu.
The second day will be sightseeing day in Kathmandu valley. You will visit different cultural and historical places of Kathmandu valley including some of the UNESCO world heritage sites. The sightseeing includes Pashupatinath Temple which is one of the biggest temple of Hindu religions, Soyambhunath Stupa which is biggest Stupa for Buddhist religion you will also roam around Kathmandu durbar square, Bhaktapur durbar square, Patan durbar square where you will get to see the picturesque of ancient art and architectures.
On our 3rd day of the trek we will take an early morning flight to Lukla airport. It is the main entrance of our journey to the Himalays.We will meet our rest of the team members have some breakfast there and start our trekking. We will walk on a trail that gradually descends too Cheplung village from where we will get a glimpses of Mt.khumbila, a sacred mountain which has never been climbed. We will take lunch there take some rest and then we will gradually descend until Phakding. We will have our dinner in Phakding. Our overnight stay will be on Phakding.

On our 4th day after having breakfast we will start our journey where our trial passes through a beautiful pine forest and we will continue our walk on a trial that goes north up the Benkar valley following the banks of Dudh Koshi River. We cross the Dudh Koshi River and pass Chumoa and Monjo village before reaching the entrance of Everest National Park. Then after crossing suspension bridge, we pass Jorsale village and walk alongside of Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi River. We ascend on a step trial and reach the biggest town in the Everest region i.e. NamcheBazar. It is also the major economic hub for people of Khumbu region. We will be staying overnight witnessing beautiful Namche Bazar.

On our 5th day after having breakfast in Namche Bazaar we will have our breakfast and move towards Phhunki. The trek until Phunki is not very difficult. After reaching Phunki we will ascend towards the biggest monastery which is Tengbboche Monastery which lies in Tengboche village. The UNESCO world heritage site Sagarmatha National Park is also located here; we can enjoy the beautiful panoramic views of the Himalayas which the monastery is blessed with. The Himalayas including Mt.Everrest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and Thamserku can be viewed from here. The Monastery opens at 3:00pm, so if we reach thereby 3 o’clock we can observe the Buddhist religious ceremony. We will be staying overnight in Tengoboche.

On our 6th day of trek we will pass through overgrown forest of birch, confer and rhododendron trees. We will be exploring the magnificent views of Mt, Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Here we will walk downhill to Debuche and cross the Imja River to Pangboche Monastery. We will be walking around the Imja valley and Lobuche River before ascending to Dingboche. This beautiful village gives amazing pictures of Himalayan agriculture and animal husbandry. We can have amazing views of beautiful barely, potato, and buckwheat fields along with animals grazing along those fields. Our overnight will be on Dingboche.

On our 7th day of the trek after having lite and healthy breakfast we will bid a goodbye to our lodge owner and head towards Lobuche. After approximately two hours trek we will reach to Thugla. There we will take a rest for sometime by having some hot drink. We can see the high mountains getting closer to us as we proceed towards Lobuche. On our trek to Lobuche we will climb up to steep hill where we can see the Everest Memorial which is a memorial for the climbers who have lost their life while attempting to summit Mount Everest. As we continue our trial to the Khumbu Glacier moraine we will be facing several great peaks. After 5-6 hours trek from Dingboche we will reach to Lobuche. Our today’s overnight stay will be on Lobuche

On our 8th day of the trek we will be heading towards Goarakshep. The hike up to Gorakshep is about 2 hours. As we further our trials it will get harder than before but the trial gets easier as we climb about 150m. There will be strenuous walk along the Khumbu Glacier and up to Everest Base Camp. As we reach to the base camp at 5365m, we will enjoy the amazing view of Khumbu icefall. Moreover the Everest Base Camp itself is incredibly beautiful. The mesmerizing views of Nuptse, Khumbuste and Pumori mountains from the base camp are so alluring. We will return back to Gorak Shep for the night. Our overnight stay will be on Gorakshep.

On the 9th day of our trek we will have an early breakfast in Gorakshep. After having breakfast we will be heading towards the best view point on the earth which is Kalapatthar. From there we can grasp the remarkable view of the Mt. Everest. The views from Kalapatthar are outstanding. It will give us that heavenly pleasure we might have never thought having off. We will have our lunch there and will return back to Dingboche. Our overnight stay will be on Dingboche.

On our 10th day we will wake up early in the morning have breakfast and hike up to Chukkung valley. We will walk through stoned walled fields and alpine landscape heading towards the head of Imja Valley witnessing the mind-blowing views. We will see Mt.Lhotse on our left and Ama Dablam on our right. We will follow the trial intersected by icy streams. After around half an hour walk from Bibre we will reach to Chhukung. Our overnight stay will be at Chukkung.

Today we will be our acclimatization day at Chukkung. We will have our breakfast and begin our trek towards Chhukung RI at 5546m offering some stunning views from the summit. Climbing up to Chukkung RI helps our body to acclimatize. From the top of the peak we can see the fantastic views of mountains across the valley. After spending few hours there we will descend back to Chukkung and spend our overnight there.

Today we will be walking on a fairly steep trial heading towards the Island Peak Base Camp. Climbing towards south we will then turn east which connects us to the main line of the valley. We will be walking on a trial along a stream side from below the southern flank of the moraine of the Lhotse Glacier. Following a crisscross route through the Imja and Lhotse glacier moraines it leads us to wide valley of Island Peak Base camp. Our overnight stay will be on island Peak Base Camp.

Today after having our breakfast our guide will provide you training on peak climbing techniques. The will guide you to use the tools and techniques properly. They will show you the proper ways of using climbing gears such as the ice axe, climbing boots and crampons, harness, ascender etc. they will also teach you using the ropes to go up and down. This training helps to boost up your self confidence and climbing skills which will be a benefit for you in climbing the higher summit as well. We will be climbing on rock surface up to 5770m and after that we will climb on an ice using the ropes when necessary. However, the use of rope depends upon the season and the crevasses. We will spend rest of our day preparing for next day’s climb. Our overnight stay will be at base camp.

Today we will wake up very early in the morning around 1 am and we will be heading to climb the island peak. We will have to reach to the summit by noon because afternoon the strong winds in the highland may be an obstacle to our successful summit. Our trail moves up several hundred meters before we strike up to a steep trial. As we ascend our steps to climb up to hill we will climb through rock gully. The trial is not so difficult but we have to climb several short steps before we emerge on the right side of the gully. We will then follow ridge line which will take us to an exhilarating and exposed traverse onto the snout of the summit glacier. Here our guide will fix a rope whenever it is needed. Following a snowy slope we will reach onto the summit of the ridge. We will use fix rope after successfully climbing to the summit. The length of the rope depends upon the season and crevasses. After reaching to the summit we will find our self standing beneath the beautiful mountains above the ocean of clouds. We will take some pictures there and descend to the base camp for an overnight stay.

Today we will be descending towards lower altitude so we will have much easier walk. We will follow the same route back through the wide valley of Khumbu Khola. Passing through beautiful Sherpa villages we will ascend our trial towards Pangboche. There is another trial which takes us to Gompa in Upper Pangboche. It is the oldest trial in Khumbu region. We can follow this trial or take the regular trial to reach to Pangboche. Pangboche is a beautiful village surrounded by mountains. We can see the Imja Tse River flowing through the valley. Our overnight stay will be in Pangboche

We will have our early morning breakfasts in Pangboche. After having our breakfast we will retrace our steps down to Imja Khola and up through the forest heading towards Tengboche. We can also visit Tengboche Monastery. Our trail continues through a hillside full of rhododendron and juniper trees. We will cross the bridge over Dudh Koshi River and after that we will descend through pine forest and reach to Sansa, where we will have our lunch. We will get to know about their lifestyle and wildlife. We will see the local animals’ grazing in the fields while passing through our trial. After passing a chorten, we will reach to Namche Bazaar. Our overnight stay will be in Namche Bazaar.

Today we will have our last day on mountains. There will be mostly a downhill trek on a trial along the bank of the Dudh Koshi River. We will trek toward the Hillary Suspension bridges, and also pass by several monasteries and villages before reaching Lukla. After reaching Lukla we will take rest and spend some quality time remembering all those bittersweet reminiscence of the journey. Our overnight stay will be on best available lodge in Lukla.

Bidding a goodbye to Everest region we will take an early flight to Kathmandu from Lukla airport along with the glimpses of the mountains we have recently visited. After reaching Kathmandu we will go back to our hotel and take some rest or do some shopping as reminder.

Island Peak climbing difficulty is classified as moderately difficult. The trip will takes almost 21 days ie; 19 days to reach Everest Base Camp and 3 days more to climb Island Peak.The maximum elevation of this climb is 6,189m/ 20,305ft at the summit. The completion of the Island peak climbing dependig on the person's physical fitness.
If you're an inexperienced mountain climber, climbing Island Peak without a guide is fairly impossible technically and it is quite better to have guide for your safety.
According to the Mountaineering rule, each person should pay 250 USD as a climbing permit for climbing Island peak.

Our accommodation will be in 3 star hotel in Kathmandu and will be staying in tea houses and lodges during the trek as per availability. All accommodations are on twin share basis. If you want single supplement it will cost an additional charge. Actual adventure team will manage rooms with attached washrooms, except in some of the tea houses having shared washrooms and toilet facilities. However single rooms are provided only as per the availability because it may not be available at the higher elevations.
All meals will be provided during our trek including welcome and farewell dinners in Kathmandu. The meals during our stay in Kathmandu will be provided in high class typical Nepali restaurant which serves you with delicious Nepali cuisines whereas we will have our breakfast and dinner in the tea houses/ lodges on trek. We will spend the night and lunch on our way to the next destination. We will serve you with local foods or the foods according to your preference and availability.
If you have any physical conditions or problems then you should inform to actual adventure team before the trek. This Everest Base Camp Trek with Island Peak Climbing is an itinerary is designed for trekkers having good health and average physical fitness. This trek is specially designed for the travelers with past hiking experience and who can walk up to 6-7 hours a day. Although, there is no special experience required. It is best if you start preparing for the trek a month before by doing exercise and maintaining proper diet.
The best time to trek to Everest Base Camp is Spring i.e. (from March to May) or during autumn i.e. (September to December) the temperature in these seasons guarantees promising and breathtaking views. However temperature reaches below 0 in December yet we can enjoy the mesmerizing views.
