Drive from Hotel to Airport

5:30 – 6:30  Drive to Kathmandu Domestic Flight situated at next to International Airport. It takes nearly 15 minutes on vehicles as it is morning time with less traffic .Slowly move towards the bearding checking que.

6:00 – 6:30 Here you will get checked by the authorized officer for legal duties and to know whether you have followed the proper procedure for Everest Base Camp Helicopter tour. 

Kathmandu to Lukla Helicopter Flight

6:30 – 7:30 

Take off from the airport in Kathmandu, flying east along with the Himalayan mountain range to the Hilary Tenzing Airport at Lukla, in the Everest Region.  On the way, fly past snow-capped mountains from the Langtang Range near Kathmandu to those in the Khumbu (Everest) Region.

After15 min of heli flight it landed either at Everest View Hotel or Kongde Resort. Here we explore surrounding  of Everest View Hotel. Have some meal with majestic view of everest on the lap.In the Everest Hotel we divided into two group  because it is difficult to fly over higher altitude. One group stay here for breakfast and another will fly for next destination to Kalapatthar.  

7:30 – 8:00

Landing Helicopter at Kalapatthar via Pheriche and Everest Base Camp 

We need to reduce the weight as the helicopter will fly to the Everest Base camp at high altitudes of over 5,500m. You will be in a group of 4 or 5 people (the usual maximum for any trip), and we will do two shuttles from Pheriche.

While one group enjoys their breakfast, the other will fly on the helicopter to the viewing point of Everest: Kalapatthar (5,545m). The helicopter cannot switch off its engines on Everest at this altitude and in such windy conditions so you can stay only 10 minutes there.

After that we will return back to Everest View Hotel.
