Morning:

After having hearty brreakfast, you will be drive to airport. So before going make sure about your packs and documents requires in your journey. Our representative will be there to pick from hotel and drive you to airport in private vehicles. It takes about 30 minutes depending upon the traffic condition.

Flight Check-in, Security Checks and boarding for Lukla:

 You will arrive at the domestic terminal of Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, well before dawn. The airport is bustling with trekkers preparing for their flights to various trekking destinations.

You check in for your early morning flight to Lukla and go through the necessary security and safety checks. It's important to ensure you have all required documentation including your trekking permits. The excitement builds as you board a small, twin-engine plane, typically a Dornier or a Twin Otter. The plane has large windows, offering fantastic views of the landscape during the flight.

The plane takes off, and you're immediately surrounded by breathtaking views of the Himalayas. The flight lasts about 30 minutes, during which you can admire the towering peaks and the picturesque valleys below.

Landing at Tenzing Hillary Airport, Lukla (2860m):

The landing at Lukla's Tenzing Hillary Airport is an adrenaline-pumping experience. The short, sloping runway sits perched on a mountainside. After landing, you step out into the fresh mountain air and incredible vistas of the surrounding peaks.

In Lukla, you meet your trekking crew, which typically includes a guide and porters. Your guide will provide an introduction to the trek, safety guidelines, and an overview of the day's trek.

Trek to Phakding:

The trek starts with a descent from Lukla towards the Dudh Koshi River. The trail is well-marked and passes through small villages and lush forests. As you trek, you'll cross several suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River, providing exhilarating views of the river and the valley. The bridges sway gently as you cross them.  Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440 m: 5- 6 hours trek):

Embark on your trek from Phakding, following the trail along the Dudh Koshi River. The initial part of the trek involves crossing suspension bridges and meandering through picturesque landscapes.

You'll reach Monjo, a charming village that marks the entrance to the Sagarmatha National Park. Here, you'll register and get your permits checked. Here, you'll stop for lunch at a teahouse en route. Take a break to rest, refuel, and enjoy the mountainous surroundings.

Resume your trek with renewed energy. The trail gradually ascends, and as you approach Namche Bazaar, you'll start to catch glimpses of the towering peaks of the Everest region.

Arrival in Namche Bazaar (3440m):

After a 5-6 hour trek, reach Namche Bazaar. The town is nestled in a natural amphitheater and offers stunning panoramic views of Everest and neighboring peaks. Choose a comfortable teahouse for your overnight stay in Namche Bazaar. Settle into your room and freshen up after a day of trekking.

Trek to Tengboche Monastery (3860m):

Arrival in Tengboche:

As you continue your descent, you'll pass through Tengboche, known for its monastery and panoramic views. Take some time to visit the monastery and enjoy the scenery.

Arrival in Namche Bazaar (3440m):

After lunch, you'll begin a challenging ascent towards Lukla. The trail involves both uphill and downhill sections. On your way to Lukla, you'll pass through Monjo, a checkpoint for the Sagarmatha National Park. Here, your permits will be checked.

Arrival in Lukla (2860m):

Arrival in Kathmandu:

Yes, most of the hotels and tea houses have electricity facilities through solar pannel but one thing, we need to remember is during the cold month, there is no possilbe to recharge solar battery. In that time we'll find electricity in limited shop. 

 

The trekking duration depends on the type and place of trekking that you have chosen. However, in this trek trekkers need to hike for 7-8 hours a day and approximately need to complete 15 km. And you will normally climb about 600m of altitude per day.

Yes. Upon arrival at Kathnmandu, you will easily obtain a visa by processing some formalities. Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 30 days can be obtained by paying the USD 40 or equivalent foreign currency. Likewise, Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 90 days can be attained by paying USD 100.

Accommodations

Because it is the budget trek we will have to compromise on the accommodations. We will be staying in a standard hotel in Kathmandu. The rooms will be provided in sharing basis. We will be staying in tea houses/ tents/ lodges during the trek.  Our accommodations will be clean and healthy.

Meals

We will provide you welcome and farewell dinner in Kathmandu. However only breakfast and dinner will be provided during the trek

Physical condition & Requirements

his trek is specially designed for the travelers having low budget and willingness to trek to EBC. There are not special conditions required but they must be able to carry their bags themselves, if they cannot carry their bags then they will have to pay for the porters.  Travelers having past hiking experience would be assets to the trek. But no such experience is required. It will be very helpful if you start doing some exercise and start having some energy boosting diets a month prior to the trek.

We highly recommend trekkers to have the travel insurance. But its not that compulsory.  With insurance you can trek without any worries. Travel insurance covers emergency medical expense, trip cancellation or interruption, loss or theft of belonging, liability coverage and make peace of mind/stressless.

To get your visa for Nepal, you require the following documents:

  • A valid passport with the validity of at least six months
