Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
After your arrival on Kathmandu our representatives will be there waiting to give you a hearty welcome to Nepal with your name card. You will be taken to hotel by our representatives in our private luxurious vehicle. At the evening we will provide you warm welcome dinner at a high class Nepali restaurant with live music. Our first overnight stay will be on standard 3 star hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing and Trek Preparation
On the 2nd day of our 14 days trek we will be visiting around Kathmandu city and explore various world heritage sites and historical and cultural monuments of the city. Our main attractions will be Durbar Square, Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath Stupa (famous as monkey temple), Boudhanath Stupa and many other places of historical and cultural values. We will be roaming around the city in our private vechicle.After visiting around the city we will return back to the hotel and after that we will be introducing to our fellow participants and discuss our trip and do some major trek preparations. Our second night stay will be in a luxurious hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 3: fly to Lukla, trek to Phakding 3-4 hours trek.
On the 3rd day of our trek we will take an early morning flight to Lukla which is our entrance to base camp trek. We will meet our rest of the team members have some breakfast there and start our trekking. We will walk on a trail that gradually descends too Cheplung village from where we will get a glimpses of Mt.khumbila, a sacred mountain which has never been climbed. We will take lunch there take some rest and then we will gradually descend until Phakding. We will have our dinner in Phakding. Our overnight stay will be in Phakding.
Day 4: Phakding to Namche Bazar 5-6 hours trek.
On our 4th day after having breakfast we will start our journey where our trial passes through a beautiful pine forest and we will continue our walk on a trial that goes north up the Benkar valley following the banks of Dudh Koshi River. We cross the Dudh Koshi River and pass Chumoa and Monjo village before reaching the entrance of Everest National Park. Then after crossing suspension bridge, we pass Jorsale village and walk alongside of Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi River. We ascend on a step trial and reach the biggest town in the Everest region i.e. NamcheBazar. We will be staying overnight in a lodge waking up to the mesmerizing view of beautiful Namche Bazaar.
Day 5: Acclimatization Day – Namche Bazaar
On our 5th day we will wake up early in the morning at 6, freshen up have breakfast and then we will tour to the primary town of the Everest region which is NamcheBazar. It also has government offices, ATMs, internet cafes, shops, restaurants, and colorful markets. Overall this market is one of the major economic hubs of Khumbu region. We will spend our whole day hiking to the places that are near to the areas. We can hike up to Sagarmatha National Park and enjoy the sunrise over Himalayas. We will also visit the Hillary School and monasteries. It will help our body to acclimate the lower content of oxygen in the air. Our overnight stay will be in Namche Bazaar.
Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche
On our 6th day after having breakfast in Namche Bazaar we will have our breakfast and will move towards Phhunki. The trek until Phunki is not very difficult. After reaching Phunki we will ascend towards the biggest monastery which is Tengbboche Monastery which lies in Tengboche village. The UNESCO world heritage site Sagarmatha National Park is also located here; we can enjoy the beautiful panoramic views of the Himalayas which the monastery is blessed with. The Himalayas including Mt.Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and Thamserku can be viewed from here. The Monastery opens at 3:00pm, so if we reach thereby 3 o’clock we can observe the Buddhist religious ceremony. We will be staying overnight in Tengoboche.
Day 07: Tengboche to Dingboche
On our 7th day of trek we will pass through overgrown forest of birch, confer and rhododendron trees. We will be exploring the magnificent views of Mt.Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Here we will walk downhill to Debuche and cross the Imja River to Pangboche Monastery. We will be walking around the Imja valley and Lobuche River before ascending to Dingboche. This beautiful village gives amazing pictures of Himalayan agriculture and animal husbandry. We can have amazing views of beautiful barely, potato, and buckwheat fields along with animals grazing along those fields. Our overnight stay will be on Dingboche.
Day 08- 09: Dingboche acclimatization and preparation day.
Our 8th day will be acclimatization day in a Sherpa village called Dingboche. It is located in Chukung Valley. After having breakfast we will trek towards Chukung valley which is not very difficult. We will have our lunch here. This valley is famous for remarkable views of mountains such as Makalu, Lhotse, Chalotse, and Ama Dablam. Moreover we will also get to see the beautifully arranged fields with stone walls in order to protect the seasonal crops from cold winds and grazing animals. After this remarkable short trek we will then go back to Dingbochhe, the guides will provide you short briefing of the trek and information about the equipments and when and where to use them. Today you will have your overnight stay at a lodge in Dingboche. We will have our dinner here and our overnight stay will be on Dingboche.
Day 10: Trek to Island Base Camp and Trek preparations. Overnight in Tented Camp.
You will have your morning breakfast and start the trek to Island Base Camp. The walk is of around 4 to 5 hours depending upon your physical fitness. After you reach there your climbing guide will give you some techniques of climbing and other team members will make arrangements for camping and serve you hot lunch. Overnight in a tented camp.
Day 11: Island Summit and return to Base Camp. Overnight in a Tented Camp.
Today is going to be the toughest day of the trek. You will be climbing the Island Peak our guides will be helping you with the equipments. You will get spectacular views of the mountains like Lhotse, Lhotse middle, Nuptse and many other mountains. It will be the most rewarding and worthy trek of your lifetime. After then we will return back to the tented base camp.
Day 12: Trek to Dingboche. Overnight in Dingboche.
Your Island Peak Climbing ends here. You will have a hot breakfast and then trek towards Dingboche. Overnight in Dingboche.
Day 13: Dingboche to Chhukung 3-4 hrs
On our 9th day we will wake up early in the morning have breakfast and hike up to Chukkung valley. We will walk through stoned walled fields and alpine landscape heading towards the head of Imja Valley witnessing the mind-blowing views. We will see Mt.Lhotse on our left and Ama Dablam on our right. We will follow the trial intersected by icy streams. After around half an hour walk from Bibre we will reach to Chhukung. We will have our lunch there and begin our trek towards Chhukung RI at 5546m offering some stunning views from the summit. After our visit we will descend back to Chhukung and spend our overnight there.
Day 14: Chhukung to Kongma La to Lobuche 9-10 hours.
On our 10th day after having breakfast in Chhukung we will trek towards Kongma La pass. It is the highest part of our entire trip. We can also take a trial over a hill which is to the northwest of Chhukung over the Nuptse Glacier moraines or we can walk back to Bibre and trek on the trial above the Niyang Khola. We can see the top of the pass marked by cairns and Buddhist prayer flags. Our final descent from the path will be the most difficult part of today’s journey. We will reach to Lobuche after climbing the moraine on the far side. Our overnight stay will be in Lobuche.
Day 15: Lobuche-Gorak Shep to Everest Base Camp 8-10 hours.
On our 11th day of the trek we will be heading towards Goarakshep. The hike up to Gorakshep is about 2 hours. As we further our trials it will get harder than before but the trial gets easier as we climb about 150m. There will be strenuous walk along the Khumbu Glacier and up to Everest Base Camp. As we reach to the base camp at 5365m, we will enjoy the amazing view of Khumbu icefall. Moreover the Everest Base Camp itself is incredibly beautiful. The mesmerizing views of Nuptse, Khumbuste and Pumori mountains from the base camp are so alluring. We will return back to Gorak Shep for the night. Our overnight stay will be on Gorakshep.
Day 16: Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar to Dzonglha, 8-10 hours
We will wake up early in the morning and after having breakfast we will be heading towards Kala Patthar at an altitude of 5545m above the sea level which is one of the best view points on the earth. From there we can grasp the remarkable view of the Mt. Everest. The views from Kalapatthar are outstanding. It will give us that heavenly pleasure we might have never thought having off. After reaching to Kala Patthar we will trek down to Gorakshep to Lobuche. We will have our lunch there and we will trek downhill on a trial alongside the Khumbu Glacier. Our trial splits there and we will choose the trial on our right. Along with the eye- catching sceneries we will pass through a stupa and tombstones in the distance. Our trial will begin to ascend after a short walk nearby Chola Tsho Lake. After crossing Chola Khola Bridge we will reach to Dzongla. Our overnight stay will be on Dzonglha.
Day 17: Dzonglha to Cho La to Thangnak to Gokyo.
On our 13th day we will get up early in the morning will start our journey. Today we will have the toughest day of our trip. As we gain height, the Cho La Lake begins to appear the views get more amazing as we gain more height the Cho La Lake begins to appear and the Ama Dablam in its pyramidal incarnation presides over a range of mountains on the south as Cholatse soars on the west. The path is steeper so we need to be alert. The path leading down to Thangnak is easy. We will be greeted by the outstanding mountain views stepping out of the settlement. Our trial will lead us to the Ngozumpa which is longest glacier in Nepal. On the side of glacier we will get the view of second Gokyo Lake on the series of six lakes. On the edge of third Gokyo Lake we will finally reach to Gokyo Village where we will be staying overnight.
Day 18: Rest and explore Gokyo RI.
Today we will wake up to an astonishing view in the Gokyo region. We will climb to Gokyo RI which is the small peak above the lake. The peak is also called by the name of Kalapatthar because of the similar views. It will take us 2 hours to climb to the top of the peak. We will be pleased by the outstanding panoramic views of Cho Oyo, Gyanchung King, Everest, and many more mountains. Travelers with more time and energy can also travel to another lake, Nagazumpa beyond to a fifth lake. Our overnight will be on Gokyo region.
Day 19: Gokyo - Renjo La- Marlung 8-9 hours.
Today our trail goes up to Renjo la and then goes to Marlung. We will have an early breakfast and proceed to Renjo valley. We will leave the main trail and turn to Renjo La trail by Dudh Pokhari. We will reach to Renjo La after three hours climb. As we climb up the mighty mountains including the Mt.Everest begins to revel itself. The views from Renjo La are much similar to Gokyo RI with third Gokyo Lake and Gokyo village. We will continue our trial down to a stone staircase. Following the trial we will reach to the south bank of Angladumba Tsho. We should be careful while descending. The presence of ice can make our journey complicated. We will get to see Relama Tso and Renjo Lake along our way to Lumde. After walking for almost 1 hour we will reach to Marlung and stay our overnight there.
Day 20: Marlung – Namche Baazar 8 – 9 hours.
Following the traditional route used by Tibetan traders for centuries we will descent to Namche Bazaar from Marlung crossing the Bhote Koshi River. We will gradually descend to Taranga where we will have our lunch. After having lunch we will be heading towards Thame crossing two bridges we will reach to Thame. It is famous for Gumbas situated on a hill to west. Continuing our trial that passes through few small villages we will finally reach to Namche. It is the biggest town in Everest region. We will be spending our overnight in Naamche Bazaar.
Day 21: Namche Bazaar to Lukla 7-8 hours.
Today we will have our last day on mountains. There will be mostly a downhill trek on a trial along the bank of the Dudh Koshi River. We will trek toward the Hillary Suspension bridges, and also pass by several monasteries and villages before reaching Lukla. After reaching Lukla we will take rest and spend some quality time remembering all those bittersweet reminiscence of the journey. Our overnight stay will be on best available lodge in Lukla.
Day 22: Lukla – Kathmandu
Bidding a goodbye to Everest region we will take an early flight to Kathmandu from Lukla airport along with the glimpses of the mountains we have recently visited. After reaching Kathmandu we will go back to our hotel and take some rest or do some shopping as reminder. Our guides will help you for shopping. We will also provide you farewell dinner and a short get-together for the completion of our journey.
Day 23: Kathmandu Rest Day
Today you will have rest day at Kathmandu. You can roam around the city on your own or do some shopping as reminder of your trip in Nepal. Our guides will help you if you need or you can take rest at the hotel as well.
Day 24: Final Departure
Our representative will drop you to Tribhuvan International airport few hours before your flight for your final departure from Kathmandu.
